DIY Dollar Store Tiered Tray
DIY Dollar Store Tiered Tray
As spring rolls around, I start thinking about getting more organized (Ok I THINK about getting organized all the time LOL). But I feel more of a push to actually do it as the winter doldrums finally start fading away. A visit to a dollar store (my favorite is Dollar Tree) can give you loads of organizing inspiration… and they won’t break the bank! Here’s how I created a DIY Dollar Store Tiered Tray for three bucks! It could also be used as a Cake Plate.
This is a very simple project.
Supplies: A cake tin, a pie tin, a glass candlestick holder (all from Dollar Tree), spray paint and E-6000 glue.
Directions:
1. Spray paint the candlestick holder (it make take a few coats).
2. Clean the pie tins.
3. Use E-6000 to glue the pie tin to the bottom of the candlestick holder. Let it dry (I usually let things set overnight).
4. Then glue the cake tin to the top.
After it dries, you can use your Tiered Tray or Cake Stand for all sorts of things!
