Halloween Scene in a Jar
Halloween Scene in a Jar
Hello ghouls and goblins… Welcome to Halloween in a Jar Week!
I’m joining The Cottage Market, The Country Chic Cottage, The Shabby Creek Cottage and A Little Clareificaton for this week. We’re bringing you fun craft, decor and food ideas… all in mason jars of course! By the time we get to Friday, we’ll have a whopping twenty five cool ideas for you.
OK, you know those snowy scenes in a jar that we get to enjoy at Christmastime? I enjoy gazing at them as well as creating them. Why should Christmas have all the fun? I thought a Halloween Scene in a Jar would be spooktacular.
Supplies: Quart sized mason jar, a small foam disc, white beans, various Halloween miniatures, banner, ribbon, scrapbook paper and a circle template.
Step 1: Trim the disc and add it to the bottom of the jar. Add beans and miniatures.
(I found the stack of pumpkins, figurines and signs at Michaels.)
Step 2: Add the banner around the rim.
Step 3: Use a circle template to trace on scrapbook paper. Cut it out and glue on lid.
Step 4: Add a ribbon around the rim of the lid.
This is soooo cute Malia!! Pinned!
