Ghostly Mason Jar

Hi Friends… It’s Mason Jar Monday! This is a new series I’m doing with some wonderful blog pals on the third Monday of each month, we’ll each shared a themed Mason Jar ideas. This month’s focus is Halloween!

Ghostly Mason Jar, a fun Halloween decor or gift project

This is an easy Halloween project, sure to add a fun feature touch to your home!

Supplies: Ball® Canning Purple Heritage Jar (quart size), DecoArt Easy Etch, a vinyl ghost outline, firefly lights, ribbon, a faux pumpkin and hot glue.

Step 1: Add vinyl.

Step 2: Add Easy Etch, following instructions on jar. I left the Easy Etch on for 20 minutes.

Step 3:  Scrape off the Easy Etch and put it back in the jar (it’s reusable!)

Step 4: Add some ribbon around the rim of the jar.

Step 5: Put firefly lights inside and glue a faux pumpkin on top!

    Malia love this. I have a bunch of the purple mason jars laying around, I went a little overboard when they came out! I never thought to etch them. I love the color the ghost turns into when you etch on the purple. Great job!
