DIY Reindeer Candy Canes

Reindeer Candy Canes, a fun Christmas craft for kids

Materials: candy canes, brown pipe cleaners/chenille stems, googly eyes, red and black pom poms, bells, mini wreath and craft glue. All materials available at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Directions: Using the photo as a guide, slide jingle bells on pipe cleaners. Wrap the pipe cleaners around the candy canes. Cut two smaller extra pieces and attach to make “antlers. Add the eyes, “nose,” jingle bells and mini wreath.

Ho-Ho-Holiday Make-n-Takes Hero

If you live on the Eastside, bring your little elves to Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond on Saturday! I will be doing two kid friendly Make-n-Takes. From noon to 1 pm, we’ll be crafting up Holiday Paperweights.

Then from 1 pm-2pm, we’ll make making those darling Candy Cane Reindeers. Either of these projects would make thoughtful gifts for teachers, grandparents or parents.

Happy Holidays!
