Lighted Thanksgiving Centerpiece
{Scroll down for the video}
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. For my entire life, my aunts, uncles and assorted cousins (and how my cousins and I all have kids) gather together for a pot luck Thanksgiving. My Aunt Missy makes the turkey, and the rest of us bring things. It’s usually a six hour long event and it feels so good to be able to visit with everyone and not feel rushed.
We have family members (and some stray friends) there for every generations, ages 1 1/2 – 77 years old! This Lighted Thanksgiving Centerpiece project is something everyone can participate in creating!

Step 1: Pour beans in mason jar and nestle branches and battery pack inside.
Step 2: As guests arrive, hand them a tag and have them write down what they’re thankful for.
Step 3: Glue pom poms on the leaves. Kids can help!
Step 4: Punch a hole in the stem side of the leaves. Place leaves and tags on branches.
Step 5: Cut a small piece of ribbon and make a bow on the jar. Wrap firefly lights around the jar.
