Peekaboo Heart Mason Jar
Peekaboo Heart Mason Jar
A Peekaboo Heart Mason Jar is a lovely way to say Happy Valentine’s Day, especially when you fill it up with chocolate hugs and kisses!
I’ve made many Peekaboo Mason Jars and through trial and error, I’ve found the easiest way to get that nice clean shape.
Note, after you spray paint it, this is NOT safe for the food or beverage!
Easy Peekaboo Method
Here’s what you need…
Supplies:
Handled Mason Jar Mug and Red Mason Jar Lid are from Fillmore Container
Vinyl Heart (cut a heart shape from a piece of vinyl)
Spray Paint Primer
Gold Spray Paint
Hershey’s chocolate kisses and hugs
Center the heart on the mason jar.
Spray the jar with primer. I’ve found that primer really helps the paint adhere. I have had luck with just spray painting (sometimes it works great), but overall, it’s worth it to take the extra step and apply primer first.
Spray the jar with gold spray paint.
Gently remove the heart.
Wipe out the mason jar.
Fill the jar with chocolate hugs and kisses candies.
