Handwriting is so important for kids.

The act of writing encourages creativity and helps kids become critical thinkers. It also boosts self-confidence. Plus writing helps reading skills. There are so many wonderful benefits to writing!

 One fun way to get the kiddos excited about writing is to create a letter writing kit– with everything kids need to write and mail a letter in one convenient place.

In our family,  we like to send cards and letters to our friends and loved ones who live in different states, like our cousins in California. My nine year old loves keeping in touch with her cousin Danielle using old fashioned snail mail. It’s so fun to open the mailbox and find a letter (not a bill or junk mail) waiting for you!
