Pistachio Dessert + Cook Book Giveaway
Um… yum! This light and delicious dessert is courtesy of my sister-in-law Kelly.
Pistachio Dessert
Total Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
2 big Tablespoons sugar
1 cup flour
8 oz package cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
8 oz container CoolWhip
2 – 3.4 oz packages pistachio instant pudding
3 cups milk
CRUST:
Mix together butter, sugar and flour. Pat into 9×13 greased pan.
Bake at 350 for 15-18 minutes. Let cool.
CREAM CHEESE FILLING:
Blend together cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1/2 cup CoolWhip.
Spread over cooled crust.
PISTACHIO FILLING:
Blend together pistachio pudding and milk.
Spread over cream cheese filling.
Top with remaining CoolWhip.

Hey Malia – that green pistachio looks amazing – Oz doesn’t have things like Pistachio Instant Pudding – such a shame :)
We’ve always called this Yummy-Gooey. Its a long time family recipe. This is the first time I’ve ever seen or heard of someone else making it. You can also make it with chocolate pudding, and, we also shave a hershey chocolate bar on top of the cool-whip top-layer. yummy!
