Snowy Scene in a Jar
Snowy Scene in a Jar
Capture the magic of the season in with this Snowy Scene in a Jar. This project packs a big impact but it takes little effort!
If you have kids or grandkids they will be enchanted by the little snowman and birdies.
Supplies: Huge mason jar, tree, snowman, fence, deer, birds, faux snowballs, washi tape, and a holiday pick. I picked up all these items at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond and I have to give them credit for the idea as well! You’ll also need faux snow and craft glue or a glue gun.
First glue a birdie to the tree.
Add some faux snow inside.
Glue another birdie on the snowman.
Then place everything inside the jar. Add a few faux snowballs as well.
Next add some washi tape to the rim of the jar’s lid.
Place a little holiday faux foliage from the pick.
That’s all there is to it! It’s big, bold and will add a touch of delight to your holiday decor.
This is just too cute, Malia! I would love to have scenes like this all over my house.
