Fanciful Easter Eggs

It's 4:21 pm Pacifc Time which means… spring has officially started. Woo Hoo!

To celebrate, I'm posting this project on making the Fanciful Easter Eggs and tomorrow I'll have instructions about putting together the Peat Pot Baskets. Let's get egg-cited for spring!

Eastereggsupplies
Supplies: Modge Podge, plastic eggs, letter stamps, Staz-on Ink, acrylic paint, scrap material (canvas, cotton or even light colored ribbon would work). Optional: Stickles or glitter.

Eastereggs2
Channel your inner child and paint the plastic eggs.

Eastereggs3
They need 4 coats but the paint dries so quickly, it's easy-peasy.

  Easteregg3

If you like things sparkly, you can use Stickles or glitter to sparkle up the eggs.

Easteregg4
It only takes a thin coat.

Easteregg5
Stickles also dries fast.

Easteregg6
In the meantime, stamp some sentiments on your scrap fabric.

Easteregg7
Some happy little words I used: Tweet, Chirp, Cheep!, Swoon, Glee, Spring, Delight, Bloom, Grow and Fly. Cut out the words and glue them on the eggs with Modge Podge.
