Teacher’s Classroom Supply Kit To-Go
For those of you buying back to school supplies– have you seen the amazing deals out there?
One idea (and it’s a inexpensive one) is to buy an extra box or two of a few of the supplies on your student’s list and assemble a “To-Go” Kit for your child’s teacher.
This is something that could come in handy if a student forgets their supplies, if the classroom runs out of stuff during the school year, if the teacher wants to take the kids outside for a lesson… whatever!
Supplies for the Tray: A cardboard drink tray, 4 paper cups (you’ll use these in the next mini-project), chalkboard paint, painter’s tape, chalk ink.
Section off a rectangle on the tray with painter’s tape and paint it with chalboard paint. It might take a few coats.
When dry, gently remove the tape.
You can write on that area with chalk ink. Set the tray aside.
Supplies for the Cups: 4 Paper Cups, a glue stick and labels. You can find these blank labels here:
Click this link for the Back To School Banner (you can use the “blank” one for labels)
Click actions, then view all sizes (scroll down until you see “view all sizes”), then select “original,” save to your computer and print.
You can handwrite or print out the names of the supplies.
And glue them on.
Embellish with whatever you have like ribbon and these apple clips from the dollar bin at Miichael’s.
Then put it all togther…
Happy Back To School!

Super cute idea!!! And I’m sure any teacher would appreciated!
Love this idea and how bright & happy it feels :~) Would be an awesome project for moms who home school too!
Ok, this is the cutest thing I’ve seen. I may make a couple of these for the kids’ teachers as a beginning of the year gift. You are so creative Mal.
Thank you so much for sharing this! It is always my problem since I teach grade school students and many of their excuses involve forgetting something. I think each class should have this – a ready amount of supplies for emergencies like writing, arts, and music activities.
What a great idea, it turned out so cute, I actually pinned this earlier in the week, thanks for linking up!
Wow! I love this idea and you made it so darn cute too :) Great creative work!
Hugs,
Brooke
