Dishing on ConAgra’s “The Dish”

Hey Bloggers…

Here ís an innovative idea and resource you can really sink your teeth into! You know ConAgra. They are the folks who make the food that nourishes our lives. They bring us all sorts of popular brands like Chef Boyardee, Hebrew National, Hunt's, Orville Redenbacher's, Snack Pack AND SO MANY MORE.

Now the nice people at ConAgra have whipped up something else– an inspirational resource centered on and created for us bloggers. Itís called The Dish. How does it work, you ask? The Dish is a place bloggers can get food for thought for blog posts ideas and insights that will get your creative juices flowing.

I don't know about you, but there are some days that I am literally starving for some good blog content ideas. Whatís a food blogger to do? Visit The Dish of course! You'll find all sorts of useful information and yummy sparks for your creativity.

Hereís one example of how I was stumped recently and how The Dish helped me out.

I was having a VERY dry spell when it came to creating recipes so I went to The Dish website and read an article in the Recipe Resources section, written by Carelys Hepburn on What to Cook in July. That story detailed what's in season, and it gave me instant inspiration to work on developing a blueberry-based recipe for my blog, since I read (thanks to Carelys) that blueberries are in season. I am literally going blueberry picking tomorrow in preparation!

Thereís so much more on The Dish. Youíll also find yummy seasonal recipes, the inside scoop on food trends by Supermarket Guru Phil Lempert, tasty recipes from ReadySetEat and advance notice of upcoming ConAgra food programs.

Hereís the skinny of how The Dish is organized:

Seasonal Spotlight: Using the seasons as a springboard– and trends and up to the minute seasonal-related content.

Recipe Resources: Your go-to-place for finding the BEST recipes from both ReadySetEat and ConAgra Foodsí sites. Just thinking about recipes using some of the many delish ConAgra foods makes my mouth water!

Ask Our Team: An interactive spot where you can ask your food questions to a panel of ConAgraís best experts. When they say ìexpertsî they arenít kidding. Weíre talking Phil Lempert, savings expert; Dan Skinner, editor-in-chief; Carelys Hepburn, Hispanic resources; and Abby Penich, ReadySetEat Community Manager.

First Look, First Taste: This is a GREAT idea, this area is devoted to promotions and products from ConAgra Foods. All it takes is a blog URL to apply to this program and it offers EXCLUSIVE content only available to members.
