Giveaway: Martha Stewart’s Favorite Crafts for Kids
Giveaway: Martha Stewart’s Favorite Crafts for Kids
I am thrilled to be hosting a giveaway of Martha Stewart’s Favorite Crafts for Kids Book and a fantastic Martha Stewart Prize Pack including a Martha Stewart Crafts Satin Paint Set and a Crafter’s Clay Nature Starter Kit! This prize package has a retail value of $70 but more importantly, these are great tools to keep your kid’s busy and let’s face it– that is priceless!
I recently had the opportunity to review the new Martha Stewart’s Favorite Crafts for Kids Book, and I was delighted and inspired by all the 175(!) crafts for kids of all ages. What a wonderful alternative to TV and video games. Not only is great for the kiddos to make the crafts, they can also play with what they’ve created! My little girl and I had a fun time choosing a craft we could do together. We chose Martha’s Button Frame Craft.
It was really easy and we had a lot of fun with the whole process.
Supplies: The basic supplies are a wooden picture frame, white Martha Stewart Crafts High Gloss Paint, some buttons and craft glue. Turn to page 288 of Martha Stewart’s Favorite Crafts for Kids for her version. First we painted the frame white (3 coats) and then Mia plotted out her design.
We used craft glue to secure the buttons, then Mia added some of her artwork.
It was a joy seeing how good Mia felt about her project! The best part was spending a couple of hours with my little crafter.
This is just one of 175 crafts included in this book. Kids will also learn to create characters, build a little world, make their own fun, design things, experiment and explore “keep it together” and build something handmade. From toddler to teen there are endless possibilities!
