{Hawks Hair Elastics}

It seems like EVERYONE in the Seattle area has a case of Seahawks Fever! You may have heard we have a little playoff game coming up in here next weekend. Now we all want to wear Hawks colors and show our support for the team. My friends at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond, Washington came up with a fun craft project… it’s a great one for kids too!

Crafts for Football Fans

Here are the supplies you’ll need to make these Hawks Hair Elastics OR (for boys)  Hawks Bracelets.

Crafts for Football Fans

Supplies: Official NFL Seahawks ribbon, Peel & Stick Fabric Fuse, Craft Cover Button Kit, elastic and scissors. Find all this stuff at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames.

 Cut a 9″ piece of elastic. Then adhere ribbon to the Peel & Stick Fabric Fuse.

Cut a section (where the Seahawk is in the middle) and stick it to button front.

Use the thingamajig in the button kit to put the back on. Add the 9″ pieces of elastic and tie a knot in the end.

 These hair elastics are perfect ponytail holders or bracelets.

 GO HAWKS!
