Easy Beef Chili
This recipe is adapted from an old Rachael Ray recipe.
{Easy Beef Chili}
Do you have those go-to recipes that you well… “go to” pretty much every week? This Easy Beef Chili recipe is one of my family’s favorites. This recipe makes enough chili to last a couple nights, which is awesome for busy Moms! The only problem I’ve run into is that is SO good that sometimes we all overeat and there’s none left for the next night.
Ingredients:
3 lbs of beef
1 onion (chopped)
8 garlic cloves (diced)
1 bottle of beer
1 can of beef broth
1 can of corn (drained)
1 can of pinto beans (drained)
2 cans of crushed tomatoes
4 tablespoons of chili powder
salt to taste
Serve with sour cream, cilantro, and shredded cheese, and rice
Directions:
Brown beef in large saucepan
Add onions and garlic and let the flavors combine for 5 minutes
Transfer to a large pot
Add the rest of the ingredients and let simmer for 30 minutes
I usually make a pot of rice, put some rice in the bowl, add the chili and cheese and then put a big dollop of sour cream on top.
Makes 8 servings
It’s REALLY good!
