Cup of Kindness Card and Gift
Cup of Kindness Card and Gift
We all know them… those very special, super kind people who make a positive difference in our lives. Whether it’s the friend who calls to check in, or the neighbor who grabs your mail and packages while you’re out of town, or a member of your family who comes through for you in a pinch– there are caring people who should be celebrated with a Cup of Kindness! Teachers are also perfect recipients.
This doesn’t need to be a big fancy present… but a small, thoughtful present. In fact, small is perfect for this!
Supplies: a coffee or tea cup, tiny goodies and a Cup of Kindness Printable Card. Just click the link, download and save to your computer: Kindness Cards. The recipe for kindness is printed on the outside, and you can write your own special message inside.
Here’s a “Recipe for Kindness”:
3 cups of encouragement
2 cups of respect
1 cup of helpfulness
3/4 cups of sharing
1/2 cup of compliments
1/4 cup of cheer
1 tsp honey
Add a pinch of bravery
Sprinkle of friendship
Once you have the card, you just need a cup or a mug. This one is from the dollar bin at Target.
Then grab some fun items to fill up the cup. I found some colorful little pens and matchbook notebooks, a small fox lipgloss, stickers, confetti and erasers. I almost all these inexpensive items at the grocery store.
That’s all there is to it. Easiest project ever. The best part is when that special person gets this meaningful gift and they feel treasured!
Love the cup of kindness idea! So cute!
