How to Transform a Wood Tray with Plasti Dip
Plasti Dip can give just about anything a fresh look!
Do you have anything at home that could use a little spruce up? I had a boring wood tray that I wanted to make more interesting for fall. That’s where Plasti Dip comes in handy. You can find Plasti Dip at many great places — get yours at Amazon or shop now at Awarehousefull!

Plasti Dip is an air-dry specialty rubber coating. The closest thing I can compare it to is spray paint… but it’s way better! It’s actually peelable off of most surfaces once it’s dry.
Here are some of the great things about Plasti Dip:
-Since Plasti Dip is peelable, you can fix mistakes or switch up colors, or even preserve original finishes -Protects against moisture, acids, abrasion, corrosion, and skidding/slipping -Provides a comfortable, control grip and rubberized texture -Remains flexible and stretchy over time
I really wanted to jazz up the wooden tray. I used Midnight Black but Plasti Dip Craft comes in seven colors: Crisp White, Lemon Yellow, Tin Roof Red, Pumpkin Spice, Midnight Black, Gulf Coast Blue, Gator Green.
There are also three enhancers: Glossifier Enhancer, Silver Metalizer Enhancer and White Pearlizer Enhancer.
I followed the directions on the can and set up a work space in a well ventilated area.
I gave my project four hours of drying time between 2 coats.
Isn’t the result cool?
Now I’m excited to use my revamped tray for fall and Halloween!
