I love painting on my back porch during the summer. It doesn’t take long for anything to dry in this Texas heat. Plus, I like sitting at my table with my diet cherry dr. pepper enjoying being outside.
It’s not a porch, we have a slab patio that’s covered with a ceiling fan so it’s quite nice. Just thought I would clear that up in case you were wondering why I would be insane enough to be outside in the heat…lol.

My favorite kind of summer crafting is usually whatever takes me outside — building and painting flower boxes, making a hanging herb garden, or building something fun for the kids!
I like doing all crafts with my daughter in the summer. We like to do them inside in the A/C (we live in Florida so it’s super hot!).
I love taking photos and scrapbooking
I love paper crafting..hooked on making box cards right now!
I love sprucing up the outdoors.
This year my little granddaughter Chloe & I will be doing something new. We are planting a “fairy garden” in an old dresser drawer. I have been collecting little items for awhile. It is all in miniature, complete with a little stone cottage, gazing ball, fairy and other little things. The plants will all be miniature also. My husband will complete the scene with little white miniature lights all around the box. We can’t wait to do it.
