EASY. QUICK. FUN… & Beachy! Here’s a great project for your little sea-loving folk! The cool thing about these Jumping Jellyfish is that that the kids are occupied making them… and then they can also enjoy playing with them!

Beach Crafts for Kids

Materials: 3 inch Styrofoam balls, foam cutter, DecoArt Americana paint in Dragon Fruit and Calypso Blue, thin elastic, Rik Rack, ruler, scissors, goggly eyes and glue. All materials available at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Make your kiddos a space where it’s OK to paint, glue and get messy!

Cutting Styrofoam

Step 1: Grown up cuts the styrofoam balls in half.

Painting Styrofoam

Step 2: Kiddos paint the styrofoam bright colors.

Googly Eyes

Step 3: Kiddos glue googly eyes on.

Knot

Step 4: Grown strings elastic through top of jellyfish, making a loop on top and a knot on the bottom.
