Hello, I’m Malia and I love to cook, create, organize and celebrate. Welcome to my blog!
I believe that a little bit of effort can go a long way when it comes to showing the people in our lives how much we love them.
I am so fascinated by the creative process, and I LOVE making stuff. In fact, I’ve had some great opportunities along the way, from being on ‘The Rachael Ray Show’ and ‘Hoda and Kathie Lee’ to having my work featured by amazing publications including Better Homes & Gardens, Country Living, Good Housekeeping, Gourmet and House Beautiful.
Whether it’s crafting an art project with the kiddos or baking something special for dinner, I’m all about effortless ways to enhance our daily lives.
Crafting fills my life.
And my closets.
And my drawers.
And every empty tote bag
in the house.
Before I went full-on-crafter, I was a TV writer and producer at KIRO-TV in Seattle and for ABC News. I graduated from The Murrow School of Communications at Washington State University and Seattle University School of Law. My favorite job is being a mom to my three kids (two teens and a golden retriever) and wife.
I believe in being authentic and celebrating the stuff you like about yourself – as well as accepting your own flaws/quirks/shortcomings. It’s so important to love yourself. You are special, and YOUR story is important.
When I’m not making a mess in the kitchen or craft room, I’m hanging out with my kids, husband Neal – and golden retriever Sophie.
I also have a passion for sharing positive stories, you can check them out on my other site: www.maliakarlinsky.com.
