How to Spray Paint Silverware
How to Spray Paint Silverware
It’s so easy to take beaten up and mismatched silverware from drab to fab. Many second hand stores sell random pieces of silverware for as low as twenty five cents apiece. You can give worn out utensils a pretty, cohesive look in a snap. Here’s how to spray paint silverware!
I actually found part of a set of Oneida silverware for sale at my local thrift shop. It had two or three knives, forks and spoons… which was perfect for me since I was working on a romantic Valentine’s Day Table Setting.
This is a simple project:
Supplies: Silverware, masking tape and spray paint (I used Design Master from Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames).
Use masking tape to section off the park you’d use to eat! Then spray paint it! Three coats does the trick.
Here’s the “after.” Make sure you wash the non-painted part of your utensils again.
And how the pieces look with a pretty thrift shop plate.
I love how the silverware looks. They are so pretty :) Thanks for the tutorial. Pinned :)
Just letting you know, I chose these to feature for our Inspiring Creativity link party this week- thanks for sharing last week! Hope you have a great rest of this one :)
