State Tic Tac Toe
State Tic Tac Toe
Tic Tac Toe is a game for all ages. That’s why is the perfect craft to make in anticipation of a road trip and/or camping trip!
Materials: Wooden box with insert, Americana Acrylic Paint in Bright Green, white acrylic paint, Glass Drop from Sierra Pacific Crafts, 2 inch circle punch, 1 piece of 12 x 12 Lime Green and White Ribbon Stripe scrapbook paper from Canvas Corp, 1 piece of 12 x 12 inch Blush Double Dot Paper by Bo Bunny, Adhesive Corkboard Circles from Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames, Mod Podge. Five pink and four white vinyl states from Decorating Your Life. All supplies from Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.
Punch out the circles from the scrapbook paper. You need nine game pieces for a Tic Tac Toe game. I made five pieces from each piece of scrapbook paper.
Brush the paper with Mod Podge and adhere to the glass beads.
Stick the cork on the bottom.
Paint the wooden box white.
And paint the wooden insert white too.
While the box is drying, add the state vinyl. I used contrasting colors– so white vinyl on the pink pieces and pink vinyl on the green pieces.
Paint the box green.
When everything is dry, place the insert back in the box. Place the Tic Tac Toe pieces inside.
Hope this project leads to fun family memories!

This is SUCH a cute and creative idea! Absolutely love it! I’m from Oregon so I’d probably have to tweak it a little bit, though. ;) Pacific NW represent! :D
