Scarecrow Mason Jar
This Scarecrow Mason Jar is simple to make — and so much fun for fall. It’s the second project in this Fall Jar series I’m participating in with some of my fellow mason jar loving friends.
This cheerful little scarecrow is sure to make you smile!
Pint Six Mason Jar
Acrylic Paint in Orange, Black, Yellow, Lite Mocha (Beige) and White
Strip of Orange Burlap Ribbon
You might also want to grab a paper plate or two, to protect your work space.
1.Paint the mason jar with two coats in the lite mocha color. Let dry between coats.
2. Paint on the mouth in black and eyes in black. Paint the nose in orange.
3. Add three dots for the cheeks in yellow. Let dry.
4. Using the white paint dots some dots in the eyes, cheeks, and mouth. This helps give it character.
5. Cut a long piece that fits around the rim of the mason jar from the burlap ribbon. Fold in half and hot glue. Make a bow from the burlap and hot glue on the piece where the ribbon meets. Glue two flower to the center of the bow. Fill with reese’s pieces, flowers, or anything fun!
