The Comeback
Happy Weekend Peeps! Actually, I have been somewhere (at least physically) for the past week. Lake Chelan, in the gorgeous state of Washington to be exact. We've been eating, hanging with friends, napping, relaxing and swimming (What? I went in the pool once… that counts).
I've also been doing a lot of pondering… about what's working for me and what isn't. I'm letting some of those things go with gratitude *pouf* there they go… and thanking them for what they've taught me. I'm making space to focus on the things I need/want to. It feels freeing.
Anyway, I am sad to leave this beautiful place but happy to be heading home.
Next week I'll be pulling double duty… blogging here and over at Vintage Indie. I'm excited to be filling in.
We're going on a week-long shopping adventure for indie fashion, american vintage pottery, amazing pioneer reproduction pieces and just plain pretty stuff. There's always room for more. So stop by Vintage Indie starting Monday.
And back here at YOT… I've been slowly making improvements. Next up– an updated banner and background among other things. I am really looking forward to getting them up and running. And I finally (I know I am pretty much the last person in the blogging universe) got Google Friend Connect going on my blog. So I hope some of you friends will become my Friend Connect pals too.
BIG Hug…
Malia
Hi Malia, With over 700 flyers in KRR class I missed seeing you over there. But let me be your 1st google connect friend. I hope you can stop by my blog sometime, the doors always open! I can’t wait to see your upcoming changes. I made a few a while back and still have some more to do. I always love dropping by here! Glad you got some vac. time.
Have a wonderful Week, Theresa
Yay for Google Friend Connect :). And your vintage shopping trip sounds FUN!!
way to go with the google button – now we are friends. I just love Chelan – my friend has a house there so hopefully I will get to visit this summer, but now that our weather is better I am happy here. You asked about my finger – you really want to know? Well I was pruning the boxwood 2 weeks ago and somehow almost cut my finger off. It is healing beautifully but as it is my right index finger – well that really messes things up as you can imagine. oh well at least I can type now.
Your vacations sounds like it was perfect. A vintage shopping trip is totally fun too!
That sign is hilarious! Glad you’re back in town!
