Millicent and Malia: Frosted Coffee Bars

Hello! Thanks for stopping by for another Millicent and Malia recipe. This series is all about my Grandma Millicent and her magical recipe box. I recently got my hands on it and how I am thoroughly enjoying making some of her dishes.

  2. Oh my ~ THESE look awesome. I’ve always had a knack for looking at a recipe and just knowing if it’s going to be a huge hit in my house and this one is surely one of those. Thank you so much. And sadly, I cannot make it right now or I’d be in the kitchen already. I’m a horrible coffee snob who must order special whole bean coffee so instant coffee is never in my house. Darn it. I guess I’d better change that very soon so I can make this.

  3. Those really look great! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I really appreciate it and I love finding new recipes to cook. I am not really very artistic and admire those who can make things like I see here. I am a new follower thru GFC now and I also followed on Facebook. If you need me to follow something else to help you just let me know. I know that FB numbers are just as important as Blog numbers for some bizarre reason. (If you want to be able to review the really good products). Still, you do those on your blog, but you gotta go by the rules. Love the old timey feel of your blog. Again, thanks for stopping by.

  5. Mmmmm…another winner from Malia & Millicent! I inherited my grandmother’s cookbook many years ago, and while I cherish it for it’s sentimental value and the fact that the first several pages have recipes penned by my great-grandmother in pen and ink, I have to admit that the recipes themselves don’t really lend themselves to being baked and shared. Not only is Millicent’s recipe box a special heirloom, but it sounds like it’s full of recipe treasures. Thank you so much for sharing with us, Malia!
