Intentions Glitter Candle
{Intentions Glitter Candle}
Happy New Year! Instead of resolutions, I like the idea of intentions… and spending a few moments each day really thinking about them. It’s like that part during Catholic Mass where you’re praying as a group and the priest says “And all the intentions you hold in your heart.”
Also Modge Podge, pinking shears, round paper punches, double sided tape, E-6000, black ink, a small matchbox, embellishments
Cut the sheet music paper with pinking shears, Attach to candle with doubled sided tape. Punch circles out of papers and cardboard to build flowers, crumpling when possible.
Fill bottle cap with Modge Podge and glitter. Paint crumpled flowers with Modge Podge and sprinkle with glitter. Set inside bottle cap.
Stamp “Intentions” strip of muslin and attach to big flower. Attach flower to paper on candle with E-600 or hot glue.
Paint Modge Pode on matchbox and cover with music sheet paper. Dust with glitter and embellish.
Wishing each and every one of you a new year full of peace and love.
