 Easter Mason Jar Carrots

Make these Easter Mason Jar Carrots to hold jelly beans or other treats!

Easter Mason Jar Carrots: A fun craft project for giving Easter treats or Easter decor.

Or use them as festive Easter decor.

Supplies: Mason Jars (I used two Ball Quilted Crystal Regular Mouth Half-Pint 8 oz jars and one 4 oz jar) and their bands, three Transform Mason Wide Mouth Frog Lid Inserts, orange spray paint, green washi tape, and green twine. You’ll also need scissors, a ruler and hot glue.

1. Step One: Spray paint the jars orange. It may take a few coats.

2. Cut eight pieces of 4″ green washi tape for each frog (that’s 24 pieces if you’re making three).

Loop the washi tape under the metal grid and then stick the two sides of the tape together evenly.

3. Get that glue gun ready! Starting at the bottom of the band, dab a spot of hot glue on.  Wind the green twine around the band, adding a spot of glue every so often as you go. When you get to the top of the band and there’s no where left to glue, cut the twine and stick the last piece in it’s place.

4. Fill the jars with jelly beans or other treats. Place the frog inside (washi tape side up) and then screw the band on.
