Vintage YoT: Patriotic Crepe Paper Decorations
Just in time for the 4th… crepe paper is so fun, festive and affordable for party decorations.
Supplies: Red, white and blue crepe paper, sewing machine and Martha Stewart Fringe Scissors. These scissors make fringing anything so much easier. I have linked to the product on Amazon but they are also available and Michael's and with that 40% coupon, they are a great deal.
Stack your crepe paper in the order you like.
Simply stitch down the center of the stack.
Option 1: Cut fringe on one side of the paper.
Isn't that pretty?
Option 2: Cut fringe on both sides.
Love the way this looks too.
Fluff it up for maximum impact. Ideas: Decorate mantles, tables, twist and hang from light fixtures. The possibilities are endless. Tip: Doubled sided tape works great as an adhesive.
Happy Crepe Papering!
How cute, simple to whip up, and cheap. Thanks for sharing, Malia!

I just recently started sewing my crepe paper together. I like the look of cutting it up too. Thanks!
