Heart Chalkboard

Here's a simple craft for Valentine's Day and beyond.

Chalkboardheart1
Supplies: wooden heart from crafts store (I got mine at Michael's for $1), red chalkboard paint, letter stencils, a crop-o-dile (to punch a hole), paintbrush, white chalk, twine or ribbon to use as a hanger.

  Chalkboardheart2
Paint the heart with the chalkboard paint (may take 2-3 coats).

Chalkboardheart3
Punch a hole near the top.

Chalkboardheart4
Use stencils to spell out…

Chalkboardheart5
"Love is all you need."

Chalkboardheart6
You can use a damp rag and q-tip to clean it up.

Chalkboardheart7
Tie a knot in your twine or ribbon to make a hanger.

Chalkboardheart8
Hang it and that's it! And after Valentine's day, it's easy to change the saying.

Nice! But I hope you realize that I now have an ear worm that will stick with me until the next one comes along…so the Beatles are singing to me today. :-)
