Snowman Mason Jar

Snowman Mason Jar Craft

I had so much fun creating this Snowman Mason Jar! There’s nothing I like more than a craft project that’s cheap, useful and easy to make. And what could be more cheerful than a snowman?

Snowman Mason Jar Craft

Supplies: Small wide mouth Mason Jar, Cosmo Cricket lid, Design Master spray paint in Glossy White, a glass candlestick holder, E6000 glue, small black hat (and holly and ribbon if desired), google eyes, small piece of orange felt, five small black buttons for eyes, hot glue or craft glue.

Snowman Mason Jar Craft

Spray paint the Mason Jar and the glass candlestick holder. I think it took three coats for me to get the coverage I wanted. Let them dry.

Next, use the E6000 to glue the jar and the candlestick holder together.

Cut a small triangle out of the orange felt for the nose. Attach googly eyes, felt nose and button mouth with hot glue or craft glue.

Glue ribbon and berries to hat. Glue hat to lid.

Snowman Scarf

To make the snowman scarf, cut a piece of felt two inches in width and eight inches in length.

Snowman Mason Jar Craft

Cut fringe in scarf. Tie it around snowman’s neck.

Fill your snowman up with candy or just enjoy it as holiday decor!

Is it necessary to have the Cosmo cricket lid for this project? I’ve never seen one in the craft stores?
