DIY Thanksgiving Apron for Kids
DIY Thanksgiving Apron for Kids
Here’s a new twist on a classic Thanksgiving kid’s craft– the handprint turkey. This simple project will become a treasured family keepsake and your little “turkeys” grow up.
Supplies: child’s size canvas apron, permanent markers, lace, craft glue and googly eyes. You’ll also need a piece of cardstock, scissors and craft glue.
Trace the child’s hand on cardstock paper and place on apron.
Have child trace the hand with brown permanent marker.
Then the fun part– kids can decorate their turkeys.
Add fill in the shape with color.
Then it’s time to add the details– like a googly eye and a strip of lace at the top. Kids can use craft glue to secure.
How cute will it be to see our kids or grandkids wearing these sweet aprons as they help you prepare the Thanksgiving feast?
