Halloween Costumes

Hi Friends! I love Halloween… but what I don’t love is spending a lot of time and money on costumes! Many times the costumes you find aren’t great quality. The solution? Use basic items you already have and make a trip to the craft store. You can whip up any of these fun costumes with just a few supplies! And you can do them all no-sew… although even if you want to sew… there are only a couple simple stitches necessary! These costumes were designed and created by my friend Tracy Gonzalez. All craft materials are from Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

I have some excellent tutorials to share with you for each of these DIY Halloween Costumes!

Zorro Costume

I love a good swashbuckling costume. What boy (big or small) wouldn’t love this? Here are some great instructions on how to create a DIY Zorro Costume.

Ladybug Costume

Awww… I think these ideas are so sweet. Whip up this cute Ladybug Costume for your little lady(bug)!

Skeleton Costume

I am not into gross stuff when it comes to Halloween. This Skeleton Costume is more cool than creepy!

Black Widow Spider Costume

This costume would be perfect for a tween! This Black Widow Spider Costume that has so many creative details.

 Sharing at these great parties.

 Happy DIY Halloween!

I think the black widow spider costume is my favorite. I’m definitely like you and prefer my costumes less on the creepy side.

Thanks Stacia. I’m with you on the non-creepy costumes. Things can be fun without being icky! Happy Halloween!
