Football Field Table Runner

Supplies: 2 pieces of green Stiffened Felt Sheets by Darice (12 in x 18 in x 1.5 mm each), 1 sheet of white Duck Tape, white number stickers (we used  American Crafts Thickers in Subway), a yard stick, a ruler and scissors. If you happen to have a paper cutter, it will make this project even easier. All supplies from Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Step 1: Cut strips out of the Duck Tape Sheet. You’ll need nine strips that are 1 inch in width and 8 inches in length.

Step 2: Flip the felt sheets over and use a piece of Duck tape to attach the two pieces of felt on the back.

Step 3: Using a yard stick for guidance, centering the Duck Tape strips, stick the strips four inches apart from each other.

Step 4: Use number stickers to make the “yards.”

 The Big Game Roman Numerals

It’s the 48th Super Bowl… that means XLVIII in Roman Numerals.

All you have to do is paint the letters gold and you have a fun centerpiece for you Big Game Tablescape!

Football Fan Glasses

Supplies: Mason Jars (we used blue because we live on “Seahawk Country” but regular Mason Jars are great too), Transform Mason Daisy Lid inserts, vinyl letters.  All supplies from Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Remove the glass lid insert and replace with a Daisy Lid insert. Use vinyl letters to give props to your favorite football player or show team spirit. Here in Seattle it’s all about the “12th Man” so we used the number 12.  Add a fun straw to show off you team colors.

  1. Awesomesauce!! I just came across this on Pinterest today… The 12 mugs made me notice it :) We’re also PNW – Yakima, Wa. I had a pretty cool Snackadium that I posted 3 years ago, as a newer blogger, that still gets CRAZY amounts of traffic this time of year… Even though my old photography using only an iPhone really sucked. lol. This year I’m planning to do a new and improved Snackadium, with a Seahawks theme :) So I’ve been collecting extra ideas on a Seattle Seahawks Love pin board – and added this post! LOVE! Awesome ideas.
